One of the first shows ever at the Temple, a broken down church in downtown Phoenix. The place was huge, with a balcony (off limits due to structural issues) and a giant floor where pews used to be. The stage was the former pulpit area, with lots of room for the choir, alter boys, etc. Even catacombs behind the stage. Its demise was far more colorful than even Mad Gardens.
Toxic Reasons had moved from the midwest to SF at this point. Subterfuge was from what was a very close-knit, creative, excellent Vegas scene that existed at the time.
